The Los Angeles County Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) and LISC LA are proud to announce the successful conclusion of the 2nd Annual Pitch Competition for the JCOD Incubation Academy. The event awarded the top three winning pitches and brought together passionate and innovative organizations committed to supporting justice-involved individuals.
LA County’s JCOD and LISC LA Award Incubation Academy Cohorts
On March 28, the 2nd annual JCOD Incubation Academy pitch competition, hosted by the Los Angeles County Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) and LISC LA, awarded grants to three local organizations. The Academy engages grassroots non-profits in LA County, particularly those led by BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, or justice-involved individuals, who historically have been providing services to justice-involved populations but struggle to secure government contracts and funding.
