Thrive nominations are open!

On September 28th, 2017, the tireless work of community leaders and organizations dedicated to revitalizing our city’s most distressed areas will be recognized. An inaugural event brought to you by LISC, the City of KCMO, Unified Government of Wyandotte County, and Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, Thrive is set to become Kansas City’s premiere annual celebration of excellence in local community development efforts. Ten projects and organizations will be nominated to win six awards that evening, including a People’s Choice recognition. Videos, social media, and an interactive environment at the Scottish Rite Temple will bring each nomination to life. At the event, 300 guests will have the opportunity to experience locally-sourced food and entertainment.

Please take this opportunity to nominate an organization that demonstrates long-standing commitment to our community, a project that enhances and/or demonstrates superior design quality and contributes to the well-being of our community, or an individual that provides outstanding individual leadership in Kansas City, MO or Kansas City, KS (or all of the above!)
