Loans and Real Estate Financing
Houston LISC offers a wide range of loans and equity investments that help bring affordable housing, commercial development and other reinvestment to urban neighborhoods.
LISC financing has helped local organizations leveraged more than $637 million in investments, loans and grants from private and public sources in the Houston area.
As a philanthropic lender, we seek to strike a balance between risk management and fulfilling community needs by taking on projects that mainstream financial institutions may not. LISC serves a catalyst for investment by investing early, often with a predevelopment loan that allows for a project to develop. Our loan products include:
- Predevelopment loans
- Acquisition loans
- Construction loans
- Permanent and mini-permanent loans
- Lines of credit
- Bridge loans
