The Detroit CDFI Coalition is a collaborative group of community development financial institutions (CDFIs) and Detroit stakeholders that work together to strategically expand CDFI investment, loans and banking services within the city of Detroit with the mission of promoting community development, stimulating growth, promoting local employment, and revitalizing strong and healthy neighborhoods that are good places to live, work, shop and play.
Organized in 2014, the Detroit CDFI Coalition meets every other month to discuss relevant investment opportunities, policy issues, and strategic partnerships to advance development in Detroit’s neighborhoods and commercial corridors.
To help investors and developers navigate available financing opportunities, the Detroit CDFI Coalition has produced the CDFI Grid to connect lenders and borrowers by financing sector, loan product, and geography.
