Stimulate Economic Activity

Economic activity which connects our targeted neighborhoods to the regional economy and beyond is another important goal. Working with community development organizations, LISC supports small business and commercial corridor revitalization as well as larger scale retail projects that help integrate these communities into the larger economy.

Buffalo LISC helps troubled communities become good places to live again by driving economic improvements. We work in neighborhoods that have known little but stagnation and decline over the last few decades. And once there we connect community organizations, business leaders and policy makers to the expertise and capital they need to grow.
